It occurs to me that it's been ages since I posted a photo of the kids....so here goes:
You'll have to excuse the dirty kitchen floor. We have dogs. We have kids. We have a white kitchen floor. NOT a great idea. No, not a good idea at all. What can you do, though? We had the floor first....
Since I've already lost the readers who get turned off by kiddie cuteness, I'll go ahead and share a couple of things that Adam has said recently.
The other day, as I was driving along with both kids in the back seat, I hear Adam very quietly talking to himself. When I steal a glance back, I notice that he's talking directly to his fingers -- and telling them, in turn starting with the thumb, "You're nice....you're nice....you're nice....you're naughty....and you're naughty."
And this morning, during breakfast, he was offering bites of his yogurt to his beloved stuffed fish, making a yummy-lip-smacky noise, and saying in this teeny tiny little voice...."Do you like that? Do you like that?" Later, he informed us that Fishy and Bambi enjoyed a nice breakfast of doughnuts, mashed potatoes, grass, and popcorn.
In other news, I've managed to get my braughler.net site redirected right here -- so technically, the old site no longer exists other than as a placeholder to redirect people here. Just as well. I started the thing mainly to teach myself Dreamweaver, and it reflected the skills that I acquired after about 30 minutes of study. Never did have the time to make the design upgrade that I had intended.
Also, my bob@braughler.net email address is working again, so feel free.
In other other news, the long-lost Joe Kelly has returned from his travels, and we're now back on track towards our blog merger. You may have noticed the hastily-slapped together new banner up there at the top. That'll have to do us until either I get some more time to work on it, or we actually come up with a name for our joint efforts.
Which reminds me -- those of you who read both Subdivided and Joe's "Marathon Man" -- if you can think of a name that would be appropriate for our new combined efforts, please feel free to share it. We're coming up empty.
Why do our kids always look like little ragamuffins??

How about "Running On Empty"?

"Men Without Cats" if Joe doesn't have one.

Oh, they've got a cat alright. Good name though. The kids are adorable as always.
